The C.L.A.S.S Program
(Community Link Aiding School Suspensions)
The C.L.A.S.S Program is a program designed to address the students causing behavior problems at school by providing educational videos, group discussions, and tutoring.
All too often when students are suspended from school, it is almost seen as a reward because they are able to sleep-in and enjoy a “day off” from school. The C.L.A.S.S Program is a structured program that allows the suspended student a safe place to get homework done in a quiet environment.
In the event that the suspended student does not have enough homework to keep them busy, there is always constructive work that can be given to the student, such as:
· Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, etc.)
· Completing a suspension packet
· Reading an age appropriate piece of literature
Please print a copy of the suspension packet that must be read by both the suspended student and his/her parent.
