New iPad Stations in LRC a Huge Hit

Many Club members were treated to a big surprise on the first day of the Summer Program - the old computers in the Learning Resource Center had been replaced with 12 brand new iPads. Members spent the entire first week of the program going through iPad orientations to ensure that everyone can take advantage of this technology upgrade.
This project was made possible through an $8,000 grant which was awarded to the Club by Ronald McDonald House Charities in the spring. In addition to 12 new iPads and potentially dozens of apps to engage our members, the upgrade includes a large flat-screen television which is connected to Apple TV.
The educational and entertainment value this project will provide our members is tremendous, and the Club is grateful to Ronald McDonald House Charities for helping make the Club experience better for our members!
