National Family Week is an annual celebration observed during the week of Thanksgiving. The Alliance for Children and Families and its member organizations have promoted National Family Week for more than 40 years.

A time to celebrate the special connections that support and strengthen families, National Family Week is built on the premise that children live better lives when their families are strong, and families are strong when they live in communities that connect them to economic opportunities, social networks, and services.

The Boys & Girls Club of Troy is proud to support the National Family Week initiative. The Club operates a food drive to benefit local families, a Thanksgiving lunch, an essay contest and a special art project.
