Nicole Parlor Joins BGCT Staff as Program Director

In September, the Boys & Girls Club of Troy welcomed aboard Nicole Parlor as the Club’s new Program Director. She will be working closely with the Club’s program staff to ensure the continued success of the after school programs and activities. Nicole plans to use her enthusiasm and love of learning to further develop relevant and fun activities and programs for Club members.
 
Nicole will fill a vacancy left by former Program Director Paul Arakelian, who served in this role for eight years before recently moving out of state with his family.
 
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University and has over 14 years of teaching experience in elementary and middle school education. Nicole previously taught STEM education for a Department of Defense youth program called STARBASE at Selfridge ANGB. She is working towards a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology at Central Michigan University and lives in Lake Orion with her husband Charlie and their 18 month old son, Zachary.
