CareerLaunch Program for Teens Coming Fall 2015

The Boys & Girls Club of Troy recently received a start-up grant from Gap Foundation to implement CareerLaunch, a comprehensive program which encourages Club members ages 13 to 18 to assess their skills and interests, explore careers, make sound educational decisions and prepare to join our nation's work force.
Club staff and volunteers will help teens build their job-search skills and job readiness, and provide them with online career exploration, college and job search information and interactive activities. Mentoring, job shadowing and training opportunities round out the program.
Implementation of CareerLaunch for teen members will begin this fall.
