Payment Options Available at Registration!


Upon registering your child for for the Summer Program (beginning March 3rd), you will have two options for payment. The first option will be to pay the entire bill at the time of registration, and the NEW second option is to pay a portion of the Program Registration fees ($700 and Add-On Programs are not included) for each child at the time of registration and  the remaining balance will be billed to the required credit card on file on May 16th. Please note that a services charges will apply to both payments.

SUMMER BRAIN GAIN: READ!
$75/child
Ages 6-9
Offered to ages 6-9 only, Summer Brain Gain: Read! is an eight-week literacy program designed to combat summer learning loss. The program is intended to improve the reading skills of youth with a new book presented each week along with supporting activities.

STEM PROGRAM
$75/child
Ages 8+
Our STEM programs allow members to investigate and explore the latest Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math concepts through teamwork, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. 

SPORTS LEAGUES
$30/sport, $100 for all four
Ages 6+
Fun, non-competitive leagues give members opportunities to hone their athletic skills and boost their physical fitness levels. Participants will be placed onto age appropriate teams when the program begins.

CARDIO KICKBOXING

Ages 8+
Youth (ages 8+) will learn proper form & boxing/kickboxing techniques through basic drills & easy to follow combinations utilizing controlled punches & kicks. Benefits will include improve balance, strength & gross motor skills. The instructor will also lead the class through various calisthenics to get the heart rate up & burn calories.


FANTASTIC GYMNASTICS & TUMBLING
$30/child
Ages 8+
Fantastic Gymnastics is a wildly fun class based on skill building and learning. Our BGCT Staff Instructors, with years of personal experience, will build a weekly program, building upon the previous week, intended to develop new skills and abilities, while growing previously learn skills. This program will be challenging enough for tumblers with experience and for those who are just jumping into it.


BEGINNER YOUTH HATHA YOGA
$30/child
Ages 8+
Youth (ages 8+) will learn gentle stretching poses for relaxation, stress reduction and increased flexibility. The class is designed to show basic yoga poses that are easy for youth to follow. A focus on balance, mindfulness & concentration will be taught as well.

Upcoming Informational Meetings/Orientations


In lieu of in person orientations, we are asking all new families to participate in one of our upcoming Informational/Orientation Meetings via Zoom. All new families must attend one of the meetings before your child can attend the After School Program.


Orientations will take place on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday at 6pm, unless otherwise noted.

ABOUT THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF TROY SUMMER PROGRAM

In addition to its after-school programming, the Boys & Girls Club of Troy will once again serve local youth with its Summer Program, a fun, safe, and affordable experience for kids aged 6-18. The program runs for 10 weeks starting June 9, with operating hours from 7:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. every weekday.

Offering a positive and safe environment for young people, the Boys & Girls Club of Troy and its programs and activities are led by a caring, responsible, and professional adult staff. The 18,000 square foot facility includes a gymnasium, games room, technology/learning center, art/music room, teen center and more. Club members also have access to large outdoor recreation and sports areas due to the close proximity to Barnard Elementary School as well as Raintree Park.

The Club’s drop-in program provides parents with great flexibility to tailor visits to the Club in accordance with family plans including vacations and extracurricular activities. Programs and activities are scheduled throughout the day, giving members the opportunity to switch hourly and choose from a variety of options, including but not limited to: arts and crafts, music and drama, sports skill building, recreational games and leagues, computer/iPad skills and games, movies, enrichment programs, outdoor games and much more.

Registration for the Boys & Girls Club of Troy Summer Program is now open. The registration fee is $1200 for the ten-week program. Please note that prices may be subject to change. The membership grants access to our members beyond the summer, allowing participation in the Club’s after-school programming which runs September-June. No refunds.

All activities are age appropriate, as members are classified into groups based on their age.
