Experience a World of Flavors at the
PNC Bank Taste of Troy

Where can you find the best food in the world?  At this year's PNC Taste of Troy which features A World of Flavors.  Want Italian?  Crave Mexican?  Love Indian?  Gotta get some Gaelic?  Hankering for some ribs and prime beef?  All those flavors and more will be
at the PNC Bank Taste of Troy benefit for the Boys & Girls Club of Troy on Sunday, March 4 from 1-4 pm at the San Marino Club, 1685 E. Big Beaver Road.  Advance tickets sell for $40 and can be ordered by calling the Boys & Girls Club of Troy at 248.689.1687.  Tickets purchased at the event are $50.
“Thanks to the San Marino Club, attendees will enjoy food from around the world right here in Troy,” said Steve Toth, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy“If you crave it, our favorite local restaurants will serve it.  What could be more fun than savoring delicious cuisine from around the world, enjoying great entertainment from Big Will and the 360 Degrees Band, a live and silent auction with spectacular items, while raising money for a great cause, the Boys & Girls Club?”  Proceeds from the event will help the organization provide a safe place for 1,200 young people to interact, learn, grow and develop into contributing members of this community.  

Food connoisseurs will enjoy the fare from more than 30 premier restaurant and food establishments, including:  Achatz Handmade Pie Company, Brio Tuscan Grille, Cedar Grille, Crumpets Restaurant at Somerset Inn, Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, Edible Arrangements, Franco’s Gaelic & Garlic, Grand Traverse Pie Company, Kalamata Greek Café, Kim’s Restaurant, Kona Grill, La Marsa, Loccino’s Italian Grill, Maggiano’s Little Italy, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood, The Melting Pot of Troy, Morton’s THE Steakhouse, Noodles & Company, Ocean Prime, Orchid Café - Fine Thai Cuisine, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Papa Vino’s Italian Kitchen, Priya Indian Cuisine, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Ridley’s Bakery Café & Catering, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Salsarita’s of Troy, Shield’s of Troy,  Slab ‘N Slice, TGI Friday’s Troy, Tim Hortons, and Tre Monti Ristorante.

In addition to mouth-watering food sampling, attendees can bid on gift baskets, spa, hotel and restaurant gift certificates in the silent auction, enjoy music and be a part of the live auction with WDIV TV 4 Meteorologist Andrew Humphrey. 

Participating restaurants compete for awards including Critics’ Choice and People’s Choice.   This is a special year, the twentieth anniversary of this successful fundraiser. PNC Bank will receive recognition by the Club for serving as Naming Sponsor.  Additional sponsors include: Corporate Sponsor HAP; Café Sponsors: Genisys Credit Union, Hartland Insurance, HMS Manufacturing, Kiwanis Club of Troy,  Meritor, and Mike Savoie Chevrolet.

The Boys & Girls Club of Troy at 3670 John R, is a non-profit youth development organization that provides nationally recognized educational and recreational activities to more than 1,200 children, ages 6 to 18, in Oakland and Macomb counties.  The Club’s positive environment enables members to become responsible, self-reliant, caring adults.
