JEFF EVANS
Chief Executive Officer
 
Jeff Evans began his tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of Troy in February 2012. He is responsible for managing the strategic planning and operation of the Club, and collaborating with the Board of Directors in developing organizational goals, attaining and allocating resources, and establishing policies.

Jeff previously served as the athletic director and grant coordinator at Clintondale High School after spending 11 years as an assistant athletic director in charge of marketing and ticket operations for the Wayne State University Department of Athletics. He is also a former assistant treasurer for the Detroit Tigers and a player programs coordinator for the Detroit Pistons.
 
A native of Mount Pleasant, Jeff holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Central Michigan University in sports administration, and a specialist degree from the University of Kentucky. He also has been a participant in the Advanced Leadership Program at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and was a member of the inaugural class of the Boys & Girls Club of America's Leadership Summit at Harvard Business School.

Jim Adams
Club Director
 
Jim Adams, who joined the Boys & Girls Club of Troy staff as the Club Director in June 2016, directs and manages the overall daily operations of the Club with primary concern for the programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, marketing, public/media relations, and membership administration.
 
Jim previously worked for six years at Special Olympics Michigan, serving as the Director of Special Projects. While at Special Olympics Michigan, Jim led a variety of fundraising events and initiatives throughout the state of Michigan, and directed the department’s social media strategy.
 
Jim also has developed programs and implemented fundraising strategies for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Boys Scouts of America, and the YMCA.
 
Originally from Litchfield, Michigan, Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwood University in Accounting and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in philanthropy and fundraising. Jim also holds a Graduate Certificate from Central Michigan University with a concentration in Leadership. He has also completed Boys & Girls Clubs of America's Club Directors Academy. Additionally, he serves as the chairman for an international leadership program for high school students through Rotary International. He also recently was honored with the Arden Detert  Youth Service Award from Rotary for his dedication in working with youth.

 He resides in Troy with his wife, Angela, and their sons, Cameron and Cullen.

NICOLE PARLOR
Program Director
 
In September 2014, the Boys & Girls Club of Troy welcomed aboard Nicole Parlor as the Club’s new Program Director. She will be working closely with the Club’s program staff to ensure the continued success of the after school programs and activities. Nicole plans to use her enthusiasm and love of learning to further develop relevant and fun activities and programs for Club members.
 
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University and has over 14 years of teaching experience in elementary and middle school education. Nicole previously taught STEM education for a Department of Defense youth program called STARBASE at Selfridge ANGB. She is working towards a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology at Central Michigan University and lives in Lake Orion with her husband Charlie and their son, Zachary.

DONNA BUDZINSKI
Office Manager
 
Donna Budzinski has served the Boys & Girls Club of Troy for over 10 years. Donna previously spent over 20 years in computer software sales and administration.
 
Donna is also a leadership instructor for middle school and high school students as part of the Reaching Higher program.
 
A graduate of Wyandotte Theodore Roosevelt High School, Donna has been a Troy resident for the last 17 years. She enjoys fishing and tennis.
