New MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16 to Host Movie Night Benefit

Be among the first to enjoy a new entertainment experience when MJR Digital Cinemas opens the doors of its Troy location for a special MJR Movie Night fundraiser benefiting the Boys & Girls Club of Troy on Thursday, June 19.
Ticket holders and sponsors are welcome to attend this event at the new MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16 beginning at 5:30 pm. Patrons will have access to a cash bar and food from an array of Troy’s finest eateries. Restaurants already confirmed for the event include Kona Grill, Granite City, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Tim Hortons.
There will be a special children’s area with a magician, face painting and a photo booth. Guests will receive a goody bag, pop and popcorn, and an opportunity to win movie passes for a year provided by MJR Digital Cinemas (restrictions apply).
First-run movies will be shown on at least 8 of the 16 screens every 15 minutes starting at 6:30 pm. General admission tickets for the fundraiser start at $40 each or two for $75. A Family Fun Pack can be purchased for $100 to accommodate two adults and two children ($10 for each additional child). Four levels of sponsorship ranging from $500-$5,000 are also available.

The MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16 is located at 100 E. Maple Road, less than four miles from the Boys & Girls Club of Troy. Tickets and sponsorships for the fundraiser will only be sold through the Club online or at 3670 John R Road. Tickets will not be sold at MJR.

The MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16 has 74,000 square feet of space to accommodate its 16 screens with 3,200 seats, along with many other amenities including: a preview screen in the lobby showing continuous movie previews; five auditoriums equipped to show movies in the high definition 3-D format; MJR’s free refill policy on pop and popcorn; and the free, patron-friendly Movie Rewards Program. The new theater will also house the MJR® Epic Experience Auditorium, which will have an 80 x 44 foot Screen, 8 stories wide by 4 stories high, with Dolby® Atmos Sound and oversized leather chairs.
